Nursing aka Boob Juice

First off, congratulations on your new baby! :-) I've learned a lot about nursing babies in my nearly 3 year cumulative nursing career. I'd like to share some of that information with you in the hopes that you and your baby will benefit greatly. I speak from experience and research. Feel free to do your own research, and leave comments.

   1. WATER, WATER, WATER, WATER, WATER!
This is imperative, your body will only give your baby the best of the best. If you are not well hydrated, your body will have difficulty producing a nutrient rich liquid.
When I started nursing my first born I had a LOT of trouble until I noticed the correlation between my water intake and my production levels. TMI alert- I had to drink what felt to be too much water. Enough that my urine was CLEAR.

2. Nursing will feel weird, especially when you (and baby) are getting used to it, and THAT'S OKAY. Let's face it, until baby first started using you as an external food source the only time a mouth came near your ta-tas was not a baby friendly experience. Think Pavlov's dog.

I will gladly add more content to this list,  but as I'm sure you understand my internets time is over for now. :-)

Alternate possibilities

'Ello! I'm so excited to finally start blogging! I've collected so much information from fellow human creatures on the interwebs, I figured it was time for me to start giving back.  :-)
